Ireland is a destination we love to return to time and again to explore its beautiful natural landscapes, ancient traditions, and lively culture. Imagine traveling through the ever-changing countryside while taking in the best views, enjoying the finest cuisine, and being immersed in every city you visit.

The Belmond Grand Hibernian is Ireland's only luxury sleeper train. If you are not familiar with Belmond, they've been pioneers in luxury travel for over 40 years. Their collection includes one-of-a-kind hotels, trains, river cruises, and safari lodges in locations across the globe.
The Grand Hibernian's five individually-themed sleeping cars accommodate up to 40 guests maximum in elegant -en- suite cabins, which are modeled after the Georgian mansions of Dublin. Wool carpets, tweed upholstery, and stone mantels produced by local artisans furnish the carriages.

Guests depart from Dublin on a two, four, or six-night journey through the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Seasonal, locally-sourced food is served in "Sligo" and "Wexford," the train's two dining cars. Later, guests gather in "Kildare," the saloon-style Observation car, for traditional live music, perhaps a pint, and some great craic. All food and beverages are included.
Offboard excursions reflect the varied aspects of Irish life. Guests visit mountainous Killarney and Connemara National Parks and tour whiskey distilleries, the English Market at Cork, and the Waterford Crystal factory, for starters.

Optional active excursions include sunset kayaking at Killarney National Park, paddleboarding in Clew Bay, and horseback riding around Mount Juliet Country Estate. Guests may also elect to add a round of golf to their journey.
There may be a few surprises along the way. For example, guests might disembark at a pop-up shebeen (pub) on the platform complete with live Irish music, dancing, and a pint of Guinness.
